A CDU deslocou-se esta sexta-feira à sede do Varzim Sport Club para se reunir com o presidente da direção, Pedro Faria. A ideia, no seguimento de outras iniciativas de género, foi conhecer de perto a destreza e as fragilidades que moldam o dia a dia daquela coletividade desportiva.

O cabeça-de-lista para a Câmara Municipal, José Rui Ferreira, considera que o estádio “tem imensas potencialidades mas não está a ser minimamente aproveitado”, e completa a ideia: “Com uma obra entre 5 a 7 milhões de euros é possível pôr isto a render muito mais, até porque ele tem uma localização excelente”.
