Durante o jantar de celebração do 81º aniversário do Rancho Poveiro, dia 5 de junho, o presidente da Câmara Aires Pereira distinguiu Jacinto Sá pelos 50 anos de dedicação ao conjunto.

O atual responsável pelo Rancho recebeu das mãos do edil um emblema de ouro e, emocionado, deixou algumas palavras:

“É a minha vida. Foi aqui que aprendi a ser homem e foi Armando Marques que me ensinou, tanto como o meu pai”.

Já Aires Pereira definiu o Rancho como “o nosso principal embaixador, que mostra o que de mais genuíno e tradicional a Póvoa tem”.
