Equipa sénior da Juvenorte castigada com 1 ano de suspensão do Inter-Freguesias

Devido à não presença da equipa e dos atletas da Juvenorte para receberem as medalhas de finalista da Taça da Póvoa, ocorrida a 4 de junho, o Conselho de Disciplina da Associação de Futebol Popular decidiu afastar a associação do bairro norte do campeonato 2017/2018 no escalão sénior.

De acordo com a Associação de Futebol Popular, liderada por António Pereira, “foi aplicado o regulamento em vigor e que foi aprovado pelas associações”.

Por sua vez, José Moita, presidente da Juvenorte, já fez saber que esta sexta-feira “vamos reunir para tomar uma decisão, da qual não concordamos, já que na altura não havia condições para receber as medalhas”.

O dirigente diz-se surpreendido pela decisão “já que não fomos ouvidos”, admitindo a possibilidade de recurso para o Conselho Superior de Justiça, “mas o que iremos fazer será divulgado depois da nossa reunião”.
