Pedro Frasco, do Centro Desportivo e Cultural de Navais, foi convocado para vestir a camisola da Seleção Nacional de Atletismo, na categoria júnior, que vai estar presente no Campeonato do Mundo de Juniores, organizado pelo Comité Paralímpico Internacional.

A competição vai desenrolar-se na localidade de Nottwil, Suíça, entre 3 e 6 de agosto, e Pedro Frasco vai competir nas distâncias de 100, 200 e 400 metros, categoria T13, para atletas com grau de dificuldade de visão.

O jovem corredor é orientado no CDC Navais por José Alberto Silva, coordenador da secção de atletismo da equipa da freguesia poveira.
